I'm going to absolve the military of the medevac jet crash, having seen *multiple* pilots online say the jamming wasn't the problem. One pilot in particular (ex-Navy, flew Forest Service firefighting planes, which is badass) had an extensive video review, noting that there was an FCC notification about the jamming, but the target airport's alternate IFR approach was unavailable due to problems with the barometric altimeter, which means that *even before taking off* the pilot should have realized that he had no reasonable IFR plans and would have been taking a VFR flight on a 0% moon night in mountainous terrain...which is a bad idea even in this non-pilot's opinion.
The ATC even got the military to suspend jamming for a bit.
I agree that there should be a plan to prosecute those people in this administration for the crimes they committed. I believe there should be a plan to close all the loopholes these people have exploited. This is not “retribution”. This is justice. We need some as soon as possible.
